Got a call yesterday from my Visa cards Fraud Detection Center, asking me if Im currently in Spain, because if not, some horses behind is happily touring multiple continents with my debit card. (This is the THIRD time weve been hacked. Ive never been out of the country, exc. Canada, but my debit has seen more Mayan ruins than the traveling gnome.) To those idiots who keep revisiting my checking account, boy, are YOU barking up the wrong tree. If you could even get half those attempted charges authorized, youre ahead of me. And the next time youre in Italy, pick me up a pair of fabulous boots. Seems fair. After all, its MY money.
