Got a few emails about the broker FX conversion problem, and will try to address other potential solutions in the next few weeks. However, it might not be a bad time to have a few more coins invested in the TSX as it has lagged the US by several % points in the past year, add on another 10% on the exchange. I have a few Canadian companies that I have been recommending too and will go over my list soon. There are a few South American emerging mkts I like, but would only recommend a basket or ETF. Speaking of ETFs/indices, while I have always been a stock picker, I still recommend the QQQs as many of my favorite stocks are in the US technology space and for those too busy to follow all my trades, not a bad way to play it. Finally, after all these years of plugging away w the blog, my ambitions may be rewarded as a good contact is making an introduction to a hedge fund. For all those who have asked me to trade for them, this might be the ideal way to integrate it into a pooled fund. Will keep you posted in the weeks to come. Fingers crossed.
