Got a gas gauge problem. Heres the story. Wifes 87r10 blew the motor. I replaced the motor and put a carb on it and converted to mechanical fuel pump for simplicity. Removed the electric in tank pump unit and replaced it with a sending unit outta a 77. Gas gauge works until it gets to half tank then stops reading until shes outta gas. Ive changed gauges with a gauge I knew worked correctly. Still does it. Any ideas?
