Got a little news today. My WBC count has doubled since I was admitted so apparently I was in the beginning stages of some kind of infection. On admission it was 7.0, today it is 14.9 so not horrible but something is going on. My Bun/Creatinine are way more than double the norm so they are reducing my fluids to keep a close eye on the kidney function. EKG was abnormal today but that could be my normal with The Prinzmetal Angina. They are doing round the clock cardiac enzymes for now. Dr. Ravi told me he has never had to keep a patient on this high a dose of solumedrol for this amount of time which could be the reason for the kidney isssue. Not to mention all the insulin Im getting. As of this very moment, my I.V. just infiltrated (AGAIN #10, YEP 10th I.V.) so they are asking an I.C.U. nurse to come find a vein. With that all said SOMEONE COME TAKE ME HOME! BUT YES IM SMILING (I wasnt this morning though) but I prayed myself through it... Oh & my 2 Drs have given me 2 options, stay here because they really are doing everything possible or they can transfer me out to a higher level of care. Im staying put because I prayed & I believe so Lodi Memorial is stuck with me. :-)
