Got a minute? The coolest thing happened yesterday. As I walked out of my girlfriends house in Vasant Vihar (South Delhi), two gentlemen walked up to me with a bucket full of honeycomb, some pissed off bees and golden, golden honey! Did I want to buy some? HELL YEAH!!! What is you was a wonderful and somewhat hilarious drama between these Honey Men who had, only MOMENTS EARLIER, gone up a tree around the corner and nicked these honeycombs, and the security guards on the block. These honey harvesters wanted the best price they could get – obviously – and they could tell from my face - I had money and I WANTED honey!!! - but the guards, seemingly feeling protective because I was clearly a guest of one of their residents, wanted to get me a good price. In the midst of all the rigmarole, they filtered the honey right in front of me with a cheesecloth and a plastic bag, poured a bunch in someones empty water bottle and I came away with golden treasure. It tastes AMAAAZZZZ-Bzzzz-ZZZING!!!
