Got a new toy yesterday from my friend in fire Blake Carson. Fired this Carson Rodizio up over my fire pit and spun a little dinner for the family. Bacon Wrapped Onions as well as Bacon Wrapped Camel. I picked up the camel meat from Black Angus meats. I used a boneless camel leg roast that weighed about 2 lbs. Trimmed it and turned it into some medallions. Oh it was delicious over the hot wood fire. Finished off with some toasted lavash. Note on preparing camel that it is very lean and important not to over cook. Can get dry and tough. Marinade is suggested. But it was tasty goodness. The camel is wild camel from Australia, one humper too. Have a delicious day. Love the Rockn Rollin Carson Blake.
