Got a recall for my Chevy Impala yesterday, regarding the ignition switch problem that has been in the news lately! You know, the one where 12 people died because the car turned off driving at 50/60 mph, disabling the power brakes, power steering and airbags. The recall that GM knew about for 10 years, but hid it from the public to save money! This really upsets me because I just spent $200 having it fixed last year. But what really bothers me is some fat ass executive sitting in a boardroom figuring how much this recall would affect his bonus and deciding to bury it. These people should be held accountable and face criminal charges for the deaths of these drivers. A recall and fix would have saved all their lives! In big business today no one is personally held accountable, even though they made the decision!
