Got an indoor antenna today from Amazon, plugged it in and am receiving about 40 free over-the-air channels, including the local network affiliates and PBS. Ive also gone four weeks now without turning to cable, using just Netflix and Hulu Plus as a test. Ill give it another couple of weeks before I cut the cable for TV and use it only for internet. Then I plan to buy a cable modem so the only thing Time Warner will get out of me each month is basic internet! I will save a huge amount! Now if only Google Fiber would come to LA...
