Got an update on Nick today for his psychologist...The Arc will not have enough staffing for Nick to keep him there. And the central office in Baton Rouge for Citizen with Developmental Disabilities is sending him home tomorrow. The said they want to try him in a community home first insread of a state facility. Well thats why the emergency packet was sent to Baton Rouge because we stayed in hospital for 4days until they found him a temporary placement. Then the OCDD would place him in a facility. He is a danger to himself and others. But yet they sending him home but thats why they sent him to ER? The only way I found out was that I called his psychologists...guess in the morning they was just gonna knock on the dor....surprise heres Nick? I told them over and over I could no longer care for him or restrain him when he got aggressive. The OCDD said when I got to that point that they had to place him. His psychologists said they was trying make room for him at a place called Evergreen! I googled it the have no vacancies. In the meantime when Nick comes home Heaven on Earth agengcy in Mamou well provide in home service 8hrs a day. I dont have to be here and they cant restrain Nick do to their policy. LOL and I cant restrain him either cause he is 175pds and strong as an ox. OCDD didnt want to place a worker in home because they didnt want Nick to hurt their staff. Now they putting staff..for how long? Didnt get an answer. What if I do find work or I am not home and things get out of control with the worker and Nick....well they will call 911....REALLY and I am gonna end up back in ER with him again? OMG I am stressed and scared of what is gonna happen. I was adjusting to him being in placement and praying I made the right decision with was very hard.. .Nick is going through adjustments too and now they gonna confuse the hell out of him and send him home? This is the help I get for my son really? I called Channel 10tv station they wasnt interested in my story either!!! Whats gonna happen for they to help? Nick seriously injury himself or die or him hurt me seriously or kill me before they gonna HELP my son? Unbelievable. Im going to have a mental breakdown. I fill so hopeless. .
