Got challenged by Joey Swisher to answer this question...Why do I love Jesus? I love Him because before I was born He thought of me. He thought I was important enough to create. Created me because there was a purpose for me. Love Him because He lived for me, and then gave up His life for me, defeated death, hell, and the grave, and then rose up for me. Went up to heaven, but sent the Holy Spirit to empower me. Love Him because He saved this physical body more than a few times. More importantly He saved my soul which He created immortally, so He could love me for an eternity. Love Him because He gave me a family, and true friends who I love. Love Him for His forgiveness, and mercy. I ran for a long time, and thought God isnt going to use me like everyone said it passed me by, but this year God used people to speak, and speak to me. They said the power of God is still yours, theres a greatness inside of you, I see the glory of God all over you, etc...this isnt bragging I cant do a thing, but I love Him for remembering me, and picking me back up where I left off & being faithful when I stood back on my feet, and said ok God lets do this. When I was 14 on to 19 I used to go to church by myself faithfully. Prayed hard for my family to be saved, and when I was 16 an we had a guest speaker he called me to the front while he was preaching, and said God told me to tell you He heard your cries, and He wants you to know your family will be saved through your prayers but after years of nothing I got discouraged & stopped going, but!!!!! now theyre all saved, and going to church & my brother will be too =) so I love God for His faithfulness, and His timing! I love Him for always making one of us take a stand for the family, because it wasnt just my prayers it was all of ours, because we took turns falling lol. I love Him for what Hes doing now, and what Hes going to do soon with us all. About to do things that have never been done before, and I love Him for it all.
