Got home from work tonight rather peckish you would imagine, so asked the Mrs when I got in Whats for Tea. She said well theres Fish Fingers there, Flat Pie, Sausages, the usual really. So in a pique of unbridled unpredictability I said Lets try something different tonight shall we? Pass me the Jamie Olivers Meals in 30 minutes cook book and pick a page and we shall make that So I said pick a page number off the top of your head and fair play she did you know....she said page 72. So with baited breath I turned to the page 72 anticipating the culinary skills waiting to be unleashed and this is what page 72 revealed......Blushing Spaghetti Vongole with Fresh Clams (Nope me neither?)..........Anyway this is how that pretentious mockney twat described it....Vongole is a dish much loved by people all around the world but I have added a twist on the usual by adding fresh tomatoes and sun-dried tomato paste, then using rosé instead of white wine, to give you a beautiful blushing dish We had egg and chips!!!
