Got home ten minutes ago from a very big day in the slave pit. It was hot with grass fires everywhere and a major factory fire in our area. Tomorrow, we do it all again...hopefully with a little less intensity:-) A big shout out to one of my crew who was injured on the fire ground. Stay gold Pete and we will see you soon when you get the all clear. Also a shout out to our latest member of the crew, Joshua. He shadowed me today and performed beautifully..."thanks mate for your hard work today". Great teamwork is what keeps us alive:-) And finally, a big shout out to all the crews who fought hard today at a major factory fire, 5 minutes from Camira Fire station. We were out at a major grass fire, outside of our area and could not attend, so thank you for your fine effort today:-)
