Got into a conversation with somebody today giving some advice on starting a business, at pretty much every point there was generally a response I cant do it, its not the right time, what if I fail, and also its okay for you , youve been in business 20 years odd and probably had a really good start with help from your parents... I would point out that Ambientlife is only 7 years old, started from scratch on a budget of £2400 and a secondhand Nikon D80 off EBay, no clients, no website and no idea what so ever about photoshop and HTML or how they worked. I was made redundant and 2 months later after sitting down and planning my business I launched it. It was feckin hard work and very long hours but it was my dream to make it succeed when I was told by so many business advisors it would most likely fail. In short, if you want something enough youll find a way, if you dont, youll find an excuse.... Google, Microsoft and Apple are other examples as all of these were started in garages by people who gave it everything they had and ignored being knocked back in the early days. If you want it so badly quit whining and do it !
