Got lots done this weekend with uncle Barton (kolo papa to Tipene Noah) and Peters sister Karen Graham. Took all the fibrelite off the property and put it out front ready to be picked up or dumped in a skip bin which means a space is now cleared for the container to be placed to store things from the garage...and used for our house one day. Had to wash all the dishes stored there as the rats had made a nest in there as no one has been in there for years. Took me all day to clean and repack nice and clean and fresh and safe! Disinfected..then hot water...then detergent... then hot water again and then dried in the sun. I am quite happy to lick it all now... A lot of it was from Petes mum..was heaps of fun for me seeing all the cool trinkets and treasures! Peter always told me that the things I liked and I had bought were similar to what he had from his mum :) The red set is an avon set. Then we took it all from Glen Afton to Thames to visit Leanne and Keri and while we were there I washed and stored it all properly at the sister in laws Leanne . Picked up storage containers on clearance too woohoo. Discovered part of Leannes grandmothers dinner set. Gave the neighbour $20 to use his power to vacuum spiders and rat shit up haha. And to run lap top so tipene could watch movies. After we finished in Thames yesterday..drove back to Glen Afton to set up insect spray and rat bait...which Im now feeling slightly guilty about :( I also took feijoa grape and pasionfruit plants down there to plant. And Lavendar :) seems appropriate after our convo Robyn Strongman. Karen also cleared and picked up more of the brush and branches onto a pile for bonfires. from thames to Glen then went to north shore and dropped off karen, then back to mahurangi west to annette and omekas where the kids have been all weekend having fun.
