Got my 101 management training last night! Dealing with folks at work with extreme attitude, lack of communication, etc. Just when I was ready to jerk them up and place them in a holy headlock, I decided to pray instead. It was merely minutes after I had prayed, God showed up and showed out!!! God softened the hearts of those with an attitude, He used other employees to speak into the situation to not only calm it, but to bring it to reconciliation. What started out horrible, ended up with love, understanding, and we were able to get past the attitudes. It is true, whatever you have going on in your personal life will reflect in you at work. Even though we are at work and we are instructed to leave our baggage at the door, we still have to take into consideration what type of pain people are in, that ignites their bad attitudes. I know deep down inside of a hurting person, they really do not want to hurt anyone. But when they are hurting, they hurt others. They are quickly consumed with their pain and cannot see past it. God did not call me to add to this pain, He called me to love the people. through prayer, through God, I now know another realm of managing these teams and these stores. Nothing is too great or too small to bring to the Lord. All we need to do is remember how to sow to the Spirit and rebuke sowing to the flesh. We need to remember that all it takes is just a few seconds in reaching out to the Lord in prayer in order to see any situation you may be facing turn around for the better! I think from here on out, I will use the same approach towards my ministry into running these teams & stores. I will just be the Yes, Lord. servant, and let God run the show! He does it better than I do anyways!! Thank you Lord for being the best in my life that I have ever known!!
