Got my DNA test results. I am 99% European broken down like this: 34% Irish, 26% British, 18% Scandinavian, 13% Western European, 4% Italian/Greek, 3% Iberian Peninsula, 1% Finnish/Northwestern Russian and a trace Caucasus. Kelley is my maiden name, so 34% Irish is no surprise. My maternal Gramma was born in Scotland and HER father was born in England, so 26% British is no surprise. The 13% encompasses Germany, which I knew I was from my maternal grandfathers people. Italy and Greece and Finland/Northwestern Russian is a surprise to me. Didnt know I had any of those elements in my DNA. I had to look a couple of them up. Iberian Peninsula is Spain. Caucasus is primarily in Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Iran, Iraq, Syria and Turkey. Looks like I got a geography lesson!
