Got my back worked on so Ive decided I needed to sit still for a few. Finding myself in kind of a head spin. Im so looking forward to being in the other house. No more stairs, a yard for my chunky monkey, a garage for Izzy, the living room Ive dreamed of... Its all wonderful. Kayza will no longer have anyone walking on her head (she hates the noises upstairs!) and the yard will be bigger than we currently have. The yard is pretty much a blank slate too so Ive got my work cut out for me. Gotta get a fence up in the front so she cant escape... It would kill me if she ran out into the street and got hurt. The horseshoe pit will have to find a new home but thats ok. Im looking at my roses and lilies and Im here to tell ya that Im not looking forward to moving them! So many ghosts in this house... So many years of bad things. Im not going to miss any of that for sure. Even with all the changes here, I still have times that the flashbacks are horrible. And unfortunately in order to move, there are things to be sorted and those ghosts like to help sort. Ive seen myself living in the new house for almost 6 months now. Watched the light come in the windows. Seen where things are going to be and how they fit. Its crazy really... Any time I grab a tape measure to check something, I already know it will work. This is kind of a daunting task though. This move I do alone. Into a house that is mine. One that I only have to share with Kayza. Scary... And exciting and several other adjectives and adverbs that just dont want to be expressed yet.
