Got profiled early this morning traveling West on I-20 about 30 miles west of Douglasville, GA. I was noticing there were State Troopers everywhere so I was traveling at the posted speed. As I went pass one setting across the median he flashed his spot light on my car. He then commenced to pull out and follow me for about .5 mile before turning his lights on. He came up to the passengers window and said, The Reason For The Stop Is Your Temp License Plate Is Improperly Displayed May I See your DL and Vehicle Reg. He came back 10 minutes later and said this is a rental and you should not take it out of the state. I reported the stop to Hertz Rental Car HQ and was told that they get that often from Georgia and it was none of their business where you take your rental because it belongs to you as long as you have a valid contract. I still can not understand how he could see the plate as I drove by. (by the way there was nothing improper with the display of the plate) Hey, folks I was not born yesterday or the day before so I know the deal and he was lying his AO. I will say he was very polite as he passed my DL and rental agreement back he said have a safe drive back to Memphis.
