Got some bad news today. We took Max to the vets because he was standing in the middle of the room last night and just fell over for no apparent reason. She drew blood and it came back that his platelet count is down to 19, he is extremely dehydrated, and has lost 8 pounds since the last of March. She said that if his platelets go any lower that he could go to sleep and never wake up or that he could start to bleed from his nose, mouth or butt. She is thinking it is an auto-immune disorder and that he probably wont get any better. We go back on Friday for another blood draw to see if the counts have come up any. If not I know what I have to do, but I dont want to be the one to make that decision and I am just praying that God doesnt make me make it and takes it out of my hands.
