Got stopped by a religious guy today and had a nice chat. I asked him if, being a decent guy and quite charitable, Id get into heaven even though I didnt go to church/mosque/synagogue or really believe in God. He told me no. I said that didnt seem very fair and his reply was, If you arent an investor for Starbucks, do you expect to walk in and be entitled to some of the profits? I still think its all bollocks, but thats a pretty good metaphor.
