Got the number 10 from Mikalene Browning Sutton so if you like my post then I’m going to assign a number to you. What goes around comes around. 10 things people probably don’t know about me. 1. Anyone who knows me probably can’t believe I’m doing this as I am a very private person. 2. My original NREMT number was 18081 which is the same number backwards. 3. Started in this field in 1968 as a cadet with South Matawan Twp. First Aid and Rescue Squad and went on calls along with the regular members. For those of you who can’t do the math that’s 45 years in what is now EMS. This is all I’ve done since the beginning. 4. I was raised a Roman Catholic. 5. In my junior and senior years me and some friends would go to the Red Bank Coffee House every Friday night to see the Castiles and got to be friends with their lead singer, Bruce Springsteen. Of course he wouldn’t remember us now. 6. I’ve delivered a bunch of babies and the last one every time the mom had a contraction she’d fart. That was a long ride to the hospital. 7. I enjoy giving anonymously. 8. I’ve read my bible daily since the late seventies and haven’t missed a day yet. Read it from beginning to end a few times. 9. I am a retired volunteer firefighter and actually miss it. Loved going into a building with the hose line and wetting the place down or a fire axe to destroy something. 10. I am not a Christmas person. Used to be, but with all the bad things happening through the holidays, my “holiday spirit” left years ago.
