Got the results of submitted art to the Edmonds Arts Festival, and Yellow Flower was accepted! My other two were not, but as juror on the Arts of the Terrace show here, I know that we cant accept everything, so Im not worried about it. Im now 3 for 3 on submissions to that show (3 years submitting, 3 years getting in), and many submit many times and never get in, so I feel accomplished with just one. Im still deciding on the medium for this print. Ive done this on a large canvas (hanging in our house now), and on aluminum (hanging at Treat Yourself Day Spa in Lynnwood), and both are pretty amazing. The art festival is June 13-15, 2014, so youll see what we decide when you go check out all the fantastic photography, paintings, sculptures, and more!
