Got this email earlier, but now lockdown lifted, but person not apprehended? We were recently alerted by Pittsburgh Public Schools that due to a report of a suspicious individual in the area they were advised to follow “outside intruder lockdown” procedures. We are doing the same here at CDS. Your children are completely safe and our staff are following the proper procedures to the letter. No one is permitted in or out of our building until the lockdown has been lifted. Please do not come to the school at this time. We will notify you by email when the outside lockdown has been lifted. Teaching will continue throughout the lockdown and all is calm.
