Got to experience my first act of random stranger kindness today. Why it surprises me is because it was someone close to my age. I know that people my age do random acts of kindness but Ive noticed that its more elderly or at least people that are older than me that do them. Anyways...my momma gave me a couple dollars today to get something to drink at work. I had a dollar left and was unfortunate enough to allow my phone to fall out of my pocket into the toilet at Walmart (yeah, apparently me and toilets are on the outs for some reason), thank goodness it was a flushed toilet lol. So momma keeps telling me to go buy a bag of rice to put my phone in and I didnt want to carry an open bag of rice around because, hey, Im clumsy and that rice would end up all over the place for some reason. So, I decide to grab a bag after work and go to pay and BAM the $1 I had left on me (had left all my cards at home) had also fallen out of my pocket at some point in time lol. Well there was a man 2 people behind me. I had the cashier cancel for me and was waiting for my momma to get done doing what she was doing and come back up front so I could get her to buy me the rice. Random nice guy stranger, after completing his transaction, walked up and set $2 down in front of me and told me it was for my rice. I tried to decline and get him to take it back, he knew that I was just waiting for my MIL to come up but he refused and told me it was the holidays and it was his random good deed. Thanks random kindness guy!!!
