Got to know about A Whisk Come True via FB. Right from the logo, name, page info is all very aesthetic. The cake pics on the page were screaming to be tried out and I’m glad I did :) I enquired about multiple other options but on that particular day the only choice available was Dark Choc Cake with choco mint icing, ordered half. Right from the moment I placed the order to final delivery it was a pleasurable experience. Owner/baker Humaria is an absolute delight to deal with. The packaging is gorgeous, simply adorable but very well thought out/practical, with a pull-out tray + molds to hold individual pieces. The cake was like eating After 8 choc but even better. The icing was a very nice balance of mint+choc flavor and just right unlike the heavy icing that stays stuck in your tummy for hours driving one into sugar induced coma… the cake moist/ dark choc balancing the sweet minty icing perfectly. Since it’s a single person operation one needs to plan an order way in advance but I feel we should be patient & ensure this girl stays in biz & maybe expand her operations- judging from the packaging imagine how her bakery café would be. I can’t wait to try all the other things! Whisk Come True a relatively new kid on the block but other folks watch out… little pricey but man every bite was so worth it!
