Got to love the Rolling Stones...50 years later and they are still doing it with just 2 guitars, bass drums, keys and the occasional sax and B/Vs on stage with them. Mick looks whippet thin and still moves ....like Jagger !! The guitarists look like they are enjoying it, Charlie still looks bored (some times he seems to just hit things in a fairly random fashion) but still has his unmistakable groove, Darryl Jones is a killer on bass. Overall Im glad I saw them again ( the last time was on their 1973 tour). That was SO much better as it was at Memorial Drive outdoors to probably 3000 people...but I would question paying so much money again to see a band in a huge place like Allphones. The winery outdoors would probably have been a better gig for sound but by then Mick might not be able to sing !......still he had three great voices on stage to help him out last night. Not too impressed by the false second encore pause ! I guess they needed some time to get the hell out of there and back to the hotel.....Strangely enough, I did meet them in 1964 outside a funny motel on Glen Osmond road Adelaide. The promoters of the tour that year had accommodated them out of the city for some unknown reason...and it was only minutes from where I lived. Thats another story though.
