Got to thinking today about how 2013 didnt really get off to a great start for us then it hit me all of a sudden that KK hit the ground running after remission and couldnt wait to get back to baseball! Well..that was 9 months ago and KK has not missed a practice or game since (except when he was with CAPO Football) even with chemo and all that goes with it! 9 months straight! So when I got home from work today KK started suiting up for practice like he always does and thats when I thought ya know what lets just take a break this week! Why not? Matter of fact no game this weekend either! We have one week left in our season anyway and heck Lil Man earned a break even though he doesnt want one! lol When I told him no practice at first he didnt believe me, he was so happy and he just wanted to hang out at his Sisters softball practice! lol The funny thing is even with having no baseball practice he grabbed his football and kickball and off we went to play with his friends! So hmmm, as my thoughts continue lets finish this last baseball game and just chill until spring! Legos, going fishing, Boy Scouts, going to the movies and best of all a trip to the Bass Pro Shop Winter Wonderland (cheaper than Disneyland) lol!!! With that being said ya heard it here first..the Life Through Sports Family is calling a time out! ps well see how long KK allows for the time out!
