Got up around 10 o’clock ate like a pig and was reading and goofing off as usual. Rose comes back from the store and said Ciel came in on a surprise visit so I went over around noon. She was going to go downtown so I thought she could pick up the record of Fiorello for me. We sat and talked and I came home about two. Then I played records and didn’t do much of anything. About got the closet cleaned out and at 4:30 called it quits and watched the movie and worked on my rug from then on. Went to bed about 11:30 and was tired.
