Got up early to make a lunch for Massimiliano Nuzzolo and his wife who are staying at the farm for a bit and heading out to Fayoum for the day and the first thing I saw when I opened FB was a post by my friend Connie Reed who tagged me in an endeavour to help erase some of the crap floating in the atmosphere of the world in general. I met her and her family years ago when they were posted in Cairo and theyve since moved to Jordan, Kuwait and now back to Maryland...wanderers like so many of my friends. I am supposed to post a song every day for seven days (well see how well I do with THAT!), tagging seven people every day to do the same. The songs are supposed to be some that mean something to you. So my first choice is God Bless the Child by Billie Holiday. I was raised on a weird diet of show tunes, folk music, and blues and such from people like Billie Holiday. I think that if I had to pick one of my lifes theme songs this would be it. And now for my victims: Matthew Westfox, Laurie Neely, Jenny Bowker, Jo Cassidy, Ben Goulding, Kelly Anderson, Elisabeth Axelsson If you dont have time or cant think of music or just dont feel like it, thats fine. No pianos will be falling from the sky on your heads.
