Gotta love technology ... Few years ago i conducted classes in a room, assignements by paper, all communication was verbally in class, Classes conducted on whiteboards ... and marking and checkin was done by hand ... it was painful, tiring, and wasted lots of time and resources .. Today: - Run classes in room, - Conduct lectures from laptop, phone, pc, tablet, etc. - Material (slides, notes, solution manauls, etc) also uploaded to Uni website - Run classes via Skype (a full semester when i broke my leg in 2012) - Communicate with students instatly on fb and whatsapp groups (not here) - Checking and marking via turnitin - and much more .. i wonder how things are gonna be in 10 years? ... A Fully virtual University (paper-less) ? ... who knows ??
