Goulash (Photo by Sharon C.) After browning 2# ground beef and 1 chopped onion and 1 medium green pepper (also chopped), salted and peppered, I add 1>15 oz can of tomato sauce and 2 Lge cans of peeled whole tomatoes (which I break up with my fingers) Then I sprinkle about a t. of garlic powder, 1 1/2 t. of dried oregano, and 1/2 t. of dried basil and let it simmer for a while I boil the macaroni’s. I boil 3 C Macaroni (measured dry) according to pkg directions. Then I drain the macaroni, put it back in the pot and add the hamburger/tomato mixture to it...stir and...ENJOY! Although I realize it might be easier to eat if there was a FORK around!!!
