Gov. Chris Christie speaking in Vegas to fat cat Republican Jewish potential contributors: To me, the reception he got (+++ by accounts) and his own statements seem to indicate he has Bridgegate cards in his pocket. This could mean deal was somehow made with Ms. Bridget Kelly and other two main actors in the scandal. Time will tell, but he is not acting like someone shooting in the blind. I think it should be clear: Big Money wants this guy if he can clear the Bridgegate hurdle. He can cut through Republicans biggest demographic problems better than the other candidates. Noticeably not on Big Moneys plate: Anything remotely Tea. Big Moneys main challenge: How to clear decks in early Republican primaries to shoot down Tea influence. Those guys have regional big money influence.
