Gov. Scott Walkers former campaign spokeswoman has her hand back in Wisconsin politics, the Journal Sentinel reports, but this time billed as a journalist covering the Attorney Generals race. [ See the post below to see her in action as a spokesperson answering no questions.] Ciara Matthews,[ the former Hooters girl] who served as Walkers campaign spokeswoman for the 2012 recall campaign, is reporting on attorney general races around the country, including in Wisconsin, for two conservative outlets, the National Review Online and the Franklin Center for Government and Public Integrity. The Franklin Center oversees the Wisconsin Reporter website. Its new and Im learning a lot, Matthews said of her current gig. I have a little bit more understanding now for reporters. Michael Moroney, who is still in the spokesman business for the Franklin Center, said that Matthews is on a short-term contract for the center, which is partnering with National Review on the project. In her blog, Unnaturally Political, Matthews has written critical pieces of Wisconsin Democrat Susan Happs run for attorney general run and favorable pieces on Happs GOP opponent, Brad Schimel.
