Governance Facility, funded by Denmark, Switzerland and the United Kingdom, was launched on 15th December 2014 amidst a programme in Kathmandu by Hon’ble Dr. Govind Raj Pokhrel, Vice-Chairman, National Planning Commission. This multi donor mechanism aims to strengthen and capacitate Nepali public institutions and civil society organizations, enabling them to improve their capacity and to implement the projects and deliver results. The Governance Facility will build a strong partnership and establish close collaboration with Nepali actors so that the sustainability and scaling up can be ensured by these national institutions.
