Government Shutdown impacts - CHANGES: While fitness centers remain open, the personal training and group exercise functions are now cancelled during the furlough. While pools remain open, aquatics programs (lifeguard classes, Saturday Swim School Program and Individual Lessons) at the pools are cancelled during the furlough. While Outdoor Recreational Equipment Checkout is not available, Recreational Equipment RENTAL is open beginning Sat, 5 Oct. The business side of the operation is open, the operational support side is closed. Customers in possession of rented equipment should make arrangements to return that equipment as initially contracted. We will try to update cancellations of our individual programs, but without an end date to the shutdown, it is pre-emptive to cancel events too far in the future. With few exceptions, it is safe to assume that programs and events scheduled in facilities listed as closed will be cancelled if the government is still in a shutdown at that time.
