Government To Partner With Transporters The Commissioner in charge of the Ministry of Transport and Tourism, Chief Ken Anaeme has announced the readiness of the Ministry to partner with transporters to bring sanity to the transport sector. He disclosed this in his office when members of the State branch of Taxi and Bus Drivers Welfare Association paid him a courtesy visit. He said Government has plans to redefine transportation and enjoined them to eschew bitterness and wrangling. The Commissioner stressed the need for synergy between the Government and every stake holder in the transport sector and warned against destruction of Government property such as electric poles through reckless driving. He also urged them to always pay their taxes to Local Governments for more development projects in the State. In an address the chairman of the taxi and bus drivers association in the State, Mr. Emeogu Unakalamba commended the commissioner for his appointment.
