The evacuation of militias from Tripoli is a reality...we are now in the process of building the army and police, Zeidan said. He told reporters that the evacuation of all militia has started even though it will take long due to the equipment they had. Commenting on the current general strike across Tripoli and Local Council member Sadat Badris insistence for it to continue until all militias are cleared, Zeidan added: In democratic countries, trade unions call for a strike, not officials...It is unlawful what happened and it is the duty of all Libyans to go to work.
