Government gone crazy in excess. News says many local governments are banning sledding. Too many injuries. Let the kids have fun. Just do what all good parents do monitor and provide safe areas of play. Can you imagine Kankakee banning sledding on poop hill? Too close to the river. Dont tale me wrong that has NOT happened just a thought from the other communities banning sledding.When I grew up we played on cement playgrounds, rtode bikes without helments, played backyard baseball no batting hements, and sledded. We are still alive and uninjured. There are many things that government needs to stay out of. This is one.
