Government has got 300 vacancies to integrate unknown number of Renamo party men in the police and in the army José Pacheco, head of the delegation of the Mozambican Government in political dialogue with the Renamo party, revealed this Monday (27) that there are 300 places for integration of an equal number of men of Afonso Dhlakamas party in the ranks of the Mozambican police and in the army. However is not yet known how many guerrillas are to be demilitarized. José Pacheco, who spoke to the press at the end of the 82nd round of political dialogue, said he doesnt know how many men the Partridge has got. For his part, the head of the delegation of the Renamo party, Saimone Macuina, stated that he has no knowledge of the proposal announced by the Executive and requires the presentation of the model of integration of his men. On this subject, Pacheco explained that within the 300 elements, 200 would be integrated into the police and the rest into the army. We are working with Renamo to see how to harmonize the process of integration and effective this framework. In another development, the Executive Chief said that this delegation is waiting for Renamo to present the list of the number of people who must be integrated and their respective patents. He stressed that (...) until Sunday (02) it is essential that this list be presented so that the work can be accomplished. In turn, Saimone Macuina didnt want to comment in detail on the proposal presented by the Government, claiming that he has no knowledge of the same. He insisted on the need of the Executive to present a framework model of residual men of his party. To introduce the list, first we have to have the approved framework and integration model and also to allow the Military Team of international Observers to perform the subsequent work, stressed the head of the delegation of the Partridge, for whom only after that will be identified the elements to be integrated. The Military Team of international Observers, formalized in 02 October, not yet begun his mission. They are still wating for the Observers coming from United States of America and United Kingdom.
