Government is the problem, all the way down to the local level. Everytime you see a vehicle parked outside a restaraunt, store, movie theatre, and it has the words For Official Government Business on it you should confront the driver right in the middle of their meal or their activity and ask what gives them the right to spend your tax dollars on their personal time, because it takes gas to run that vehicle that is paid for by tax dollars, and every mile it is driven increases the maintenance cost. These official government vehicles whether they be Local, State, or Federal, were not added to that persons salary as a perk to be used for their personal enjoyment or conveyance. These vehicles should be parked at their place of employment every day after work and the keys left at their place of employment until they arrive at work the next day in their own personal vehicle, just like everyone else is expected to do. Nobody pays for my car, nobody pays for my gas, tires, oil changes, and maintenance. But next time youre out and about after hours take notice of how many Official Government Vehicles are being used as daily drivers by people in government. This is government waste of your tax dollars.
