Government should be treated like a business entity, with systems, processes, structures, working capital and good people to manage all those resources. Leadership is meant to harness all those resources for maximum advantage and returns for the benefit of the whole organisation to enjoy. But when leadership fails in its duty to harness those resources due to lack of vision and mission, its just a matter of time before the whole business crumbles. If Nigeria were a business entity, the business has surely failed and only awaiting liquidation. But guess what? Everything falls on leadership, as when leadership fails, everything fails. My fellow countrymen, we cannot afford to sit on the fence behaving as if the choice of leadership does not matter as when the hen goes home to roost, we will all have none but ourselves to blame. The failure of leadership we are experiencing today is as a result of the wrong choices we made in electing our leaders. 2015 is again around the corner if God permits us to remain a united, peaceful entity and the choice again is ours to make. You can decide to be a part of the process or remain indifferent. As you lay your bed, so you will lie on it. Lobatan!
