Government shutdown affects Lake Berryessa: All Reclamation-operated recreation areas at Lake Berryessa will be closed as of 10:00 AM today until further notice. This closure includes all Reclamation-operated boat launching, day use, trails, restrooms, the Visitor Center, the Park Office and other facilities and services. These closed areas include Oak Shores Day Use Area, Smittle Creek Day Use Area, Eticuera Day Use Area, Olive Orchard Day Use Area, Dufer Point Visitor Center, and Capell Cove Boat Launch Ramp. However, all Concession-operated recreation areas at Lake Berryessa will remain open with all services provided. Concession areas that will remain open include Markley Cove Marina, Pleasure Cove Marina, Steele Park Recreation Area, Spanish Flat Recreation Area, and Putah Canyon Recreation Area.
