Government to train youth in agro-business As part of NDC 2012 manifesto to Full implementation of approach to job creation programmes. • Government through the National Youth Authority (NYA) has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Tractor/B-Bovid to train the youth in agro-business. • The training will provide sustainable livelihood and income generation venture for them. • Tractor/B-Bovid would use its alternative livelihood center at kejebil in Ahanta west District in the Western Region to train youth in agriculture-entrepreneurship and information communication technology (ICT). • Also the programme will encourage the youth to embrace agriculture as a form of business and a career path. • Student from Abura Youth Leadership and Skills Training would also benefit from the training regime.. • The MoU was necessitated as a result of increasing youth unemployment which has become a serious challenge.
