Government was able to rise with power due to the apathy of the People. The cause of apathy with the People is the loss of diligence. The cause of the loss of diligence is self-centeredness, selfishness. Self-centeredness, selfishness results in the loss of virtue. The loss of virtue results in the loss of power. In order for the People to restore their power, they must become a People of virtue. In order to be of virtue, one must shed self-centeredness, selfishness which will result in the desire for diligence to restore and keep our American Republic. Discernment is required in order to make the correct decisions that are needed in order to restore and keep our American Republic. What the People of America need is an Evangelizing Virtue Revival that sheds self-centeredness, selfishness, so that We The People can have the diligence and discernment that is needed to restore power to the People with virtue. Government is not the problem with America. The self-centeredness, selfishness of the People is the problem with America. To lose virtue, is to lose power. To have virtue, is to have power. The Cure For Self-Centeredness, Selfishness: To have self-centeredness, selfishness, is to lack true love. For me the definition (Not the meaning of, as described in I Corinthians 13.) of love is: To care more about another than oneself. Many that believe in Christ do not have true love for the Heavenly Father, which results in self-centered, selfish, Christians. To have true love for the Heavenly Father is to do His will. To do His will requires one to not be self-centered, selfish. To have true love for the Heavenly Father requires one to put His will, desires above one-selves will, desires. To understand what true love involves, look at the story of Job. America needs to have true love. What is required in order to have a pure heart? To have a pure heart, one must have unselfish motives with forgiveness and not having a love of money. Evil has great spiritual power, but one of virtue true love and a pure heart with understanding is no match for evil. The most important key to life is: Understanding. The meaning of life in a word is: Fellowship.
