Governor Brown has unveiled a fiscally responsible budget. As Chair of the Education Committee and a classroom teacher for over twenty years—I was thrilled to see more funding allocated to our classrooms and towards workforce development programs that are vital to our state. While we are early in the budget process—this is a good start and I look forward to working with the Governor and my colleagues to ensure California remains headed in the right direction with an on time and balanced budget.
