Governor Brown wants suggestions on how to fund infrastructure repair. My suggestion is that the money come from the banks and the oil companies. The Treasurer for the City and County of San Francisco and the Attorney for the City and County of LA found that a large percentage of the mortgages that were originated in their municipalities between 2006 and 2009 were originated illegally because they were generated employing fraud, forgery or deception. Minority communities were targeted. The primary culprit was MERS and associates. The City and County of San Francisco, Fresno, Contra Costa County, La County and numerous other municipalities were shortchanged because MERS was allowed to bypass the registers office on 2/3 of the mortgages that were generated. As Attorney General, from 2007 to 2011, Mr. Brown could have stopped MERS in its tracks. Instead he referred all cases of fraud to the Office of Thrift Supervision which he knew had been shut down by Henry Paulson to facilitate the liquidation of the sub-prime mortgages the were on Lehmans books. MERS and associates have been allowed to foreclose on 68 million illegal transactions with Mr. Browns assistance. They should be willing to do him the favor of financing the infrastructure repair. The banks will most certainly make money on both the bullet train and the water projects...ajsanford-honestyproject.org
