Governor Lynch and wife Dr. Lynch (physician) praised the restaurant by writing a letter to the editor of Concord Monitor, here is the letter: Letter: We’re glad it’s back Thursday, September 12, 2013 We would like to thank the Concord Monitor for highlighting the Covered Bridge Restaurant in a recent article (“Open but struggling,” front page, Sept. 7). Our family has been a loyal patron of the Covered Bridge for years, enjoying its delicious home-cooked food and warm, friendly ambiance. We are happy that the Covered Bridge has reopened and hope former customers will return as we have.
