Governor Orders Transfers : JAMMU, Jan 11: Governor NN Vohra has ordered transfer and postings of three senior IAS officers and appointed Pradip Kumar Tripathi as another Principal Secretary to him, who will work for co- ordination between Raj Bhavan and Civil Secretariat. An order issued by the General Administration Department (GAD) said Pradip Kumar Tripathi, an IAS officer of 1987 batch and presently posted as Director General, Institute of Management, Public Administration and Rural Development, J&K, holding additional charge of Administrative Secretary Higher Education Department, has been transferred and posted as Principal Secretary to Governor. “An equivalent post from overall cadre strength of the IAS has been transferred to the Governor’s Secretariat for the purpose of drawal of salary of Tripathi till he holds the post,” the order said. RK Gupta is already serving as Principal Secretary to the Governor. Sources said Tripathi will work for co-ordination between Raj Bhawan and Civil Secretariat after imposition of Governor Rule in the State. BB Vyas has been posted as Principal Secretary, Finance Department on full time basis. Earlier, in addition to his charge as Principal Secretary Finance Department, Vyas was also working as Principal Secretary to former Chief Minister Omar Abdullah. The order said Vyas will continue to hold the charge of the posts of Administrative Secretary, Information, Hospitality and Protocol, Estates and Civil Aviation Departments. Mohammad Ashraf Bukhari, Secretary, General Administration Department (GAD), will hold the charge of the posts of Administrative Secretary, Higher Education Department and Director General Institute of Management, Public Administration and Rural Development in addition to his own duties.
