Governor Rick Scott had a financial stake in a natural gas pipeline, and his Florida Public Service Commission appointees voted to support it. When I say special interests are in the driver’s seat in state government, I really mean it. Every Floridian should be appalled by this. It’s time for us to elect a governor who puts the people ahead of special interests, and who will treat the office as public service instead of an opportunity for personal gain.
