Governor’s Secretariat opens in Jammu Jammu, Nov 4: The Governor’s Secretariat in Raj Bhavan, commenced functioning here on Monday. The Secretariat had closed in last week of October in summer capital. An official spokesman said that Governor, N N Vohra, went around the various wings of the Raj Bhavan Secretariat and issued instructions to all the officers and staff to ensure cleanliness, proper record keeping, prompt disposal of all references, and satisfactory maintenance of the entire Raj Bhavan estate. The spokesman said that during inspection of the Raj Bhavan lawns and gardens, he stressed their improved maintenance. The Governor inspected the Solar Power Plant installed at the Raj Bhavan and took stock of its functioning. The Governor also inspected the CRPF and J&K Police Camps in the Raj Bhavan.
